Welcome ABILITY Corps’ Newest Ambassador

Susan Molnar is a working artist and educator with more than 15 years experience dedicated to empowering others to understand and execute their ideas. Susan has a background in multi-media and cross-disciplinary arts with an emphasis on new technologies. Educated at Tufts University and School of the Museum of Fine Arts with some graduate work Media Studies The New School she is currently pursuing a M.S.ed in Learning Design and Technology through Purdue University. Susan received a stem cell transplant in 2010 for a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia (PH+ALL) which affected her mobility and although in remission, side effects from her transplant continue to impact her life. She continues to find new ways to work with her situation and those around her to explore, empower and create in new and inclusive ways. She has spoken at Charlotte and Atlanta Maker Faires, as well as helped launch the Imagine Upstate festival in Greenville SC. She is one of the founding members of the non-profit iT2Pi, Introduction to Technology to Programming inventors and runs Sumo Design Workshop in Upstate South Carolina Most recently she has been awarded the 2016 Google Policy Fellowship to work with AAPD on current tech and policy issues in relationship to the Disability community and has been chosen to be part of the USBLN Rising Leadership Class of 2016 and is on the Tech Challenge Design Team.
